Coffin Comics

Well folks, looks like I’m getting into this whole tablet thing now so I think Coffin Comics will be here to stay.  I know, it’s bad news, but you’ll just have to deal with it.  I’m thinking updates will be on Fridays.

For those who don’t know me or are just finding this place, Coffin Comics started with a little doodle of my beloved mage Coffinshaker @ Garithos.  He was the embodiment of my mischievous and comical ways.  Now that I have a bit of time and some tablet mojo going on, I hope to have this be an ongoing thing for a long time to come.

It’s strange you know, this tablet thing from Wacom.  I’ve wanted one ever since I was in art school, but could never afford it.  Now they’re pretty cheap if you get one model behind.  Not too shabby.  But the learning curve with this is seriously kicking my butt.  I think I’ve come a long way, but there’s so much more I have to go!  THANKFULLY awesome artists that I look up to have posted Ustreams of their process and I have learned so much.  A special shout out to Lar Desouza, one of my favorite cartoonist and one that I like to follow on the Ustreams.

In addition, I’m liking this WordPress + Comicpress deal.  Makes life easier!  Seems a lot of my fav webcomics do this, so I figured why not giver a shot.  Customizing will be a pain, but it’s getting there.
