Breaking Diablo 3 News!!!
No, not a release date… or new class… or anything lame like that, but EXCITING news about the next secret level! The good folks at Equestria Daily released the finding from the data mined beta of Diablo 3 and it seems that hidden deep in the code was snippets about ponies! It’s a PONY LEVEL! Now, on the surface it might not seem like much, but then there’s a list of some of the (badguys?):
- TentacleHorse Rainbow Western
- Unique_TentacleHorse_A Midnight Sparkle
- TentacleHorse_B_Unique Nightmarity
- Unique_TentacleHorse_A Nightmare is Magic
- Unique_TentacleHorse_B Generosity in Death
So… you can see its a bit of FIM references (Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Friendship is Magic, etc)!! So, it looks like there’s going to be a My Little Pony Level!! Unofficial sources at Blizzard HQ have denied the existence of said pony level. >)
For those of you who don’t know, this a sequel to the Secret Cow Level in Diablo 2.

Uhm… I got the impression females (such as myself) couldn’t actually Be “bronies”… Isn’t it a males-only sort of thing…? I mean a lot of people would say that MLP was generally for fems to start with so we don’t really have to have a special name for those of us who are into the show (and the toys… Oh gawd the toys!!![clutches a horde of MLPs to self] Mine!)…

from my understanding of the etymology of the word, it originates from the 4chan /b/ boards… so it was combined from the /b/ponies to just bronies. so I’m thinking girls are actually allowed to be bronies.
well… I think we can make a more definitive definition by saying anyone that’s outside the “original” targeted demographic of the show can be called a “brony”. I say original since season 2 seems to be a LOT more targeted towards that 25-35 nerd demographic. why else would they have cast Q and ended with a Star Wars nod? wait a sec! they combined Star Trek and Star Wars! the world really will end in 2012!!!!
