Swimming around Vashj’ir all by my lonesome gives a man time to ponder… of course, my brain usually goes to some strange places… like how my dwarf hunter would rule the world with his trusty Whale Shark pet. But I guess it’s just not in the cards for him…

Would be interesting though if you could only summon aquatic pets like the crocs and crabs there or tame and summon fishies that could only be used there.

I’m sure everybody knows by now anyways, but that’s a Magikarp pokemans laying there. Wonder if Splash is super effective vs druid bears.

Happy Brewfest

Anyways, in other news… you ready? sitting down? ok… I am going to Megacon!!! Woot! I’ll be in Red #6, somewhere in there… I will post the link when their map is updated. So yay! It’s my first con on this side of the booth. It will be in Orlando, FL; March 25th - 27th 2011. So if you can, drop on by. I’ve been working diligently* on lots of new goodies I think everyone will enjoy!

*Diligence is a matter of perspective as a few hours of video game distraction time may or may not have occurred. >)

New Face Of The Horde

The Horde get a lot of bad press lately. Invading Azeroth, deforestation, harboring magic addicts, WMDs… It was not looking good in the papers.

Until NOW! I give you, the New Horde! See, they’re not so scary! The New Horde’s your buddy! They turned their frown upside down and just want to give you a great big /hug. So come on down to your favorite friendly Horde city and join the festivities! The only PvP will be pie eating contests! Don’t forget to visit the Gift Shop in the visitor’s center.

Teddy Bear Love

Them smexy droods! Gotta be careful in bear form though… Never know what wildlife or a certain hunter’s pet might find you attractive! Same with all your forms! Well… except for the aquatic form… pretty sure you’re in no danger there…

COMBOBREAKER!!!

Yes, that’s right! This totally just happened! It had to be done… I’m sure everyone knows about trade chat and the horrors that go on there. Horde, Alliance, Barrens, General Forums… it’s all the same; somehow seemingly rational folk get antagonized into lengthy discussions about absolutely nothing of substance, all the while a lvl1 alt is sitting in the sidelines laughing at everybody. It really is amazing… I’ve seen the “rogues can’t train axes” thing go on for half an hour! And Gear Score seems to be the new one on the block. People really get animated about that discussion, especially when you have pug runs that post something like “LFM ICC25 GS>5000! NO SCRUBS!” or “Link Acheiv” This is usually followed about with a lengthy debate over GS and skill… of course… always degrading into some form of Chuck Norris joke like “Chuck Norris’s GS is over 9000!” XD

Remember guys… don’t feed the trolls! >)

Some Folk Eat Possum

Hunters have a lot of tricks up their sleeves and as a former hunter, I have to say… I have done this more than I’d care to admit! Sometimes things get a little too dicey in PvP and playing dead seems like such a good idea. Feign Death drops you from their target, you look dead, and unless you’re within an inch of your life with a DOT, then MAYBE they’ll go away. Especially if all kinds of chaos is going on around you. Of course, there’s your faithful pet standing right next to your body and the confused look on their faces when just a second ago you had full health… That’s when things usually don’t go very well…

(Just in case there’s some confusion, especially with all you Alliance players, the Forsaken have the ability Cannibalize, which lets them eat dead humanoids to restore some HP.)

This was actually one of the first ideas I had back in 2007 when Coffin Comics was but a dream. Seems like such a long time ago now…

Super Mara Bros

This one I wanted to do for a while now! So yeah, if I saw Princess Theradras after taking an hour killing “Goombas“, “Koopas“, “Piranha Plants“, smashing stones, and dredging through the sewers… only to find out the real princess is in another castle… I would not be a very happy camper to say the least!

Mario is totally a Dwarf Retribution Paladin, btw! XD
